Unity Linux – Weekly Update 0002x
So it’s been a busy week for us at UnityLinux… As you might have noticed, we have released Alpha 2 for our 2011 release. This took some doing and wouldn’t have worked without the great collaboration between all developers. I’m proud do be working with such a great team. Thanks guys.
What’s next? Well, we are still working to getting all remaining issues for the 2011 release worked out and we are making progress. At the same time work on KDE 4.7 has begun and will hit the repositories soon. Missing packages might have made it a bit bumpy for some early testers of the alpha 2 release, however, the issue are sorted out by now.
Not only are we busy updating various packages, but we are also a step ahead by starting the preparations for the post 2011 release we will continue with the use of Mandriva repositories. We are on a good track and spirits are high.
I’ll try to release more regular updates in the future. So long…
